## What it is

Pexels is a free stock site with hundreds of thousands of videos up to 4K, many of them vertical, contributed by photographers and filmmakers.

## Best for

Modern lifestyle, people, cities, food and nature clips, especially vertical footage for social media.

## Licence

The Pexels License allows free commercial use without credit, with restrictions such as not selling unaltered copies and not showing identifiable people in an offensive way.

## How Video Assets Server searches it

Link only: its API needs a key (new key issuance was paused when last checked) and its terms forbid building a similar or competing service, so every search links to the same query on Pexels instead of fetching results.
