## Choosing one

Look for low contrast where your text will go, slow motion and no single element that grabs attention. Darken or blur it slightly in the edit so text stays readable. Abstract and rendered backgrounds rarely contain people or logos, so a clip with a commercial-use verdict is usually safe for any project. Yes if its licence allows commercial use. Use a small rendition (720p or 1080p), mute it and keep it short. Showing a CC0, public-domain or CC BY clip on your site is allowed; CC BY needs a credit somewhere on the page or site.

**How do I make a background loop seamlessly?**

Pick a clip marked as a seamless loop, or crossfade the end into the start over half a second in your editor. Slow, uniform motion hides the join best.
